.stay/go. {NaPoWriMo 2015 Day 4}

Day 4 of NaPoWriMo is upon us there are new prompts for NaPoWriMo and Writer’s Digest. For NaPoWriMo, the prompt is love(less) poems, meaning writing about love without the usual trappings of said poem or even conversely writing about a break up of some sort and for Writer’s Digest, departure of an kind, be it physical, emotional, artistic, etc. is the order of the day.

I mashed my offering up conceptually, throwing in a little bit of all of the possibilities for each i could muster.

On a different note, I’ve also been struggling with the question of whether or not to begin adding photos to my posts. I tend to keep my photos and writing separate, seldom allowing them to co-mingle. What do you think? I think I know the answer but this is my way of buying some time. Haa!

the brink of ego
blunt against one’s body
so very often

might the collision be
to puncture the skin,
in order to force a pull
in the seed of pity from
this dropped plum?

only one of us
truly exists,
proving the theory that
mist & mistake
only differ by one sound

a difference of little importance,
this thing, never hushed & so the
questions are who is who, therefore,
who should stay?
